Greetings Scouts & Parents:
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as Scout Master. It is an honor. I love scouting and the values it teaches our youth as well as reminders to adults. The spirit of scouting is nothing short of inspiring and I believe it to be an inspired program from our Heavenly Father. The Prophet has stated that scouting is the activity arm of the Aaronic Priesthood. This means that scouting is where things happen.
Scouts will be Wednesday every week at 7:00 p.m. I do expect every scout to have a scout uniform and scout book and bring them every week to scouts. If you need any help with these let me know. We go on campouts every month. Currently we have over 86 consecutive months of camping. EMB – Every Month Baby!
Most of our resources and information can be found on our website at www.troop900.org. We also have an email and text list. There are forms on the website to add your email or text number. Please do not hesitate to phone, email or text me with any questions. We are going to see a lot of Eagle Scouts from the 9th Ward while having a lot of fun in the process. We are going to have some great adventures together!
